You will see and auto ‘update’ message on your decoder front panel and when the current time reappears on your decoder front panel, you will be able to resume normal viewing by pressing any channel number on the remote control.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE WHEN PERFORMING CARD ACTIVATION

­ Please do not power off or switch channels using your remote while your decoder is performing the software download.

­ Ensure that the new (gold) smart card is inserted into the correct smart card slot (“smart card 1” slot) before inserting.

­ Depending on your decoder type, take note whether the white arrow on your smart card is facing up or down. Please follow the same direction of the arrow on your old (red) smart card when doing this.
